35 – Adelina Ofosua Boamah

BIO:

After studying words from Merriam-Webster for several months to prepare for the Bee, my contribution to it would be “Akitokaliramania” – this is defined as a medicine used to cure all diseases. And this is the etymology: akito = medicine + kaliras = disease + man- = a cure + -ia = all. Pretty nifty, huh? Speaking of studying, I usually spend at least 30 minutes daily on my gadget practising words and then on weekends, I ramp it up and study in strategic hour-long blocks. One global problem I’d love to solve is ensuring that everybody has access to clean, drinking water; and if I get the chance, I’d love to be a pilot for a day and explore different countries. Starting with Italy, a country I’m fascinated by for its culture, history and delicious food. And when I go, I’ll take my cats, Sunshine and Moonlight, along. I’m sure they’ll enjoy exploring with me as well.
