39 – Fitra Zakaria

BIO:
This is my second shot at the Spelling Bee and my prep work includes studying more words and learning more about the origins of said words. But when I’m not doing that, I can usually be found in front of a computer trying my hand at website coding. Walking on the canopy walk at Kakum National Park is an adventure I’ll never forget; and the word I’ve coined is ‘jorts’: a combination of jeans and shorts. (which are definitely handy when going to Kakum) I’d want to be a doctor for a day so I can save lives, and the historical figure I admire is the prophet Mohammed because he united many Arab nations into one Muslim nation. My favorite word is extremely long – “supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” – but its meaning can be summed up in two words: “extraordinarily good.”
