Playing piano and the violin has kept my fingers dexterous, and participation in the UCMAS kept my brain sharp. Joining the Bee was the next obvious step for me. Visiting Dubai recently plays in a constant loop in my head; and my favorite book by Jacqueline Wilson “Project Fairy” shares that magic really does exist. Katy Perry’s ‘Roar’ is my personal anthem that pumps me up and my favorite historical icon is Mae Jemison who became the first black female astronaut. One reason why I love my city is that there’s always someone to talk to; but interestingly, my favorite time of day is the evening, when it’s relatively quieter and more peaceful.
